Richard Sharp

Richard Sharp is currently the Director of Engineering at Apple, where they lead a global software team and manage the integration of Shazam following its acquisition. Richard has held various influential roles, including CTO at Yieldify and Shazam, as well as a Senior Research Scientist at Intel Corporation. They have also served as Director of Studies for Computer Science and a Fellow at Robinson College, University of Cambridge since 2005. Richard earned a PhD in Computer Science and an MBA from the University of Cambridge, where they studied programming language design and hardware synthesis.
