Richard Tan

Richard Tan is a Thermal Architect at Apple with over twelve years of experience in thermal engineering across aerospace and consumer electronics, focusing on project management, design, analysis, testing, and validation. They previously served as a Product Team Lead at Lockheed Martin, where they provided project management and technical direction for thermal subsystem hardware, and as a Senior Thermal Engineer at Space Systems Loral, managing thermal analysis and design for battery systems and spacecraft. Richard holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University and is currently pursuing an MS in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
