Richard Wei is an API designer and currently serves as the Head of Foundation Models API at Apple, where they manage the deployment of developer APIs for Apple Intelligence models. Previously, from 2022 to 2025, they held roles including Engineering Manager of SwiftUI Frameworks and Technical Software Lead for Core ML, focusing on machine learning and Swift-related technologies.
