Ron Estrin

Ron Estrin, Ph.D., is a Machine Learning CPU Compiler Engineer at Apple, where they focus on solving complex computational challenges. They earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Combined Honours in Mathematics and Computer Science from The University of British Columbia and a Ph.D. in Computational and Mathematical Engineering from Stanford University. Their prior experience includes roles as a Science Researcher at The University of British Columbia and as a member of the technical staff at Cerebras Systems, where they developed an automatic code generator for the Cerebras Wafer Scale Engine. With a strong background in software engineering and numerical analysis, Ron has worked with leading technology companies such as Google and Microsoft.
