Ronan Boitard is an HDR Imaging Scientist with extensive experience in video tone mapping and HDR video technologies. They began their career as an engineer at INRIA from 2009 to 2011, followed by two PhD roles focused on video tone mapping and HDR imagery between 2011 and 2014. After completing a PhD at the University of Rennes 1, they served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at The University of British Columbia from 2015 to 2017. Ronan worked at MTT Innovation Inc as an HDR Imaging Scientist from 2017 to 2023 and is currently a Color Management Algorithms Developer and Architect at Apple.
