Rui Zhou

Rui (Ray) Zhou is a highly experienced manager in product design with a proven track record at Apple since September 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing product design initiatives. Prior roles include serving as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at Lumentum, focusing on the design and manufacturing of advanced optical transceivers, and as a Senior Mechanical Engineer addressing various technical challenges. Previous experience includes a research assistant position at Northwestern University, where Rui conducted innovative research that led to a patent and recognition in competition. Rui holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University, a Bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and a certificate in Management for Scientists and Engineers from the Kellogg School of Management.
