Ruz Shariff

Ruz Shariff is an engineering leader currently serving as a Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering/Product Integrity at Apple, where they focus on design safety and worldwide compliance, particularly in lithium-ion battery safety and optics. Previously, Ruz held positions as a Senior Manager of Hardware/Electrical Engineering at Cutera, where they contributed to the development of aesthetic laser systems, and as a Senior Electrical Engineer and R&D Manager at Angiodynamics, specializing in RF and Irreversible Electroporation systems. Ruz also gained extensive experience at Stryker as a Senior/Staff Electrical Engineer, designing embedded hardware for endoscopic surgical equipment. They are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering at Wright State University.
