Samy Bengio

Samy Bengio is a Senior Director of AI and Machine Learning Research at Apple since May 2021. Prior to this role, Samy worked at Google from February 2007 to April 2021 as a Distinguished Research Scientist. Before Google, Samy was a Senior Researcher at the IDIAP Research Institute from 1999 to 2007. Samy holds a PhD in Computer Science specializing in Machine Learning from Université de Montréal, which was completed between 1989 and 1993. Samy also obtained a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Université de Montréal between 1986 and 1989.
