Sandeepan Banerjee

Sandeepan Banerjee is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and operations across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as the Head of Global Production Engineering for Apple AIML since June 2017, Sandeepan oversees various domains including ML Hardware, AI Systems Engineering, and Data Center infrastructure. Prior to this role, Sandeepan held the position of SVP Engineering and Operations at ClusterHQ, leading product development initiatives such as Flocker and VolumeHub. Previously, Sandeepan worked at Google from March 2006 to June 2017, where responsibilities spanned across product management and strategy for storage infrastructure, video infrastructure, and web search infrastructure. Sandeepan's career began at Oracle as Sr. Director of Server Technologies, and earlier experience includes a software engineer role at Versant Object Technology. Sandeepan holds a B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
