Scott Hartog

GPU Architect / System Engineer

Scott Hartog is a retired GPU Architect and System Engineer with a robust career spanning several prominent companies. They began as an Electronics Design Engineer at General Electric from 1988 to 1993, later moving to Martin Marietta until 1995, and subsequently worked at Lockheed Martin until 1998. From 1999 to 2006, they served as an Architect at Advanced Micro Devices, where they designed cutting-edge 3D graphics accelerators. Scott has been contributing as a GPU Architect and System Engineer at Apple since 2014. They hold a BSEE in Digital Electronics from the University of Florida and an MSCpE in Parallel Programming/Compilers from the University of Central Florida.
