Seongdo Kim

Seongdo Kim is a Senior Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer at Apple, specializing in VPG ARKit Scene Understanding since May 2018. Prior to this role, Seongdo Kim co-founded Reflex Robotics, where a real-time object tracking system was developed using nVidia Jetson TK1 and TX1 with machine learning algorithms from October 2014 to June 2016. Additionally, Seongdo Kim served as a Graduate Research Intern at Texas Instruments, contributing to the development of lip-synchronized speech recognition applications using computer vision algorithms during two separate internships in 2014 and 2015. Seongdo Kim holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and both an M.S. in Computer Science from Yonsei University and a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Hongik University.
