ShaoYi Shi

ShaoYi (TOM) Shi is currently a Core Technology Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Apple, where they leverage their extensive experience in image processing, vision inspection, and robot programming to enhance production lines. Previously, they served as a Tooling and Automation Engineer at Fuyao Group, focusing on the development and integration of vision-guided robotics. Earlier in their career, Shi contributed as a Research Assistant at the Design and Rapid Prototyping Laboratory at the University of Florida, where they worked on advancing FEA software in Java. Shi holds a background in robot design projects from their time at the University of Florida and has experience managing supplier equipment design and quality.
