Sharan N.

Sharan N. is currently a Wireless Platform Architect at Apple Inc., where they design and implement models to evaluate next-generation wireless systems and protocols. With over five years of industry experience, Sharan has contributed to wireless standards development, including WiFi 802.11ac/ax/be, and has been actively involved in the open-source ns-3 network simulator. They earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University in 2018, where their research focused on enhancing Wireless LANs through innovative networking algorithms. Prior to Apple, Sharan held positions at Samsung Electronics, AT&T Labs, and NEC Laboratories America, among others.
