Shari Thomas

Shari Thomas has extensive experience in event management and donor engagement, primarily in the nonprofit sector. At NPR, Shari served as Senior Director and Executive Director for Events and Donor Experience, implementing systems that enhanced donor interactions and retention through various events and strategic communications. Prior roles include Head of Fundraising at the National Organization for Women and Head of Donor and Member Engagement at the Black Economic Alliance. Shari has also contributed as Associate Director of Events at Georgetown University, where responsibilities included managing large-scale alumni events and donor committees. Currently, Shari is the Head of Programming at the Steve Jobs Theater, following earlier positions at Georgetown University Law Center and NPR. Shari holds a BA in English from Lincoln University and an MALS in Literature from Georgetown University.
