Shashank Tyagi

Shashank Tyagi is a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since February 2020, with a strong background in developing advanced algorithms and systems. Prior experience includes a role as Research Engineer at Voyage, where Shashank focused on the perception system of autonomous cars, creating deep learning-based object detection and scene understanding algorithms. At CureMetrix, Shashank contributed as a Deep Learning Intern, developing solutions for breast cancer detection through sophisticated CNN architectures for high-resolution images. Previous positions also include Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego and Research Scientist at Electronics and Radar Development Establishment, where Shashank worked on Generative Adversarial Networks and radar target classification systems, respectively. Shashank holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC San Diego and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Honours) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar.
