Sheng Liu possesses extensive experience in optical engineering and research, beginning as a Graduate Research Associate at Tsinghua University from September 2001 to July 2004, where development of a bimorph cantilever/tuning fork-based optical sensor for near-field scanning optical microscopy took place. Subsequent roles included an Optical Engineer Intern at UtopiaCompression Corporation in June 2009, focused on a single viewpoint panoramic camera, and various positions at KLA-Tencor from August 2010 to August 2012, contributing to R&D of optical wafer inspection technologies for the semiconductor industry. From June 2017 to August 2023, Sheng Liu served as Director of Optical Engineering at Goertek Electronics, overseeing precision optical manufacturing. Additional academic pursuits included a PhD in Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona (2005-2010), where an optical see-through head-mounted display for AR applications was developed. Currently, Sheng Liu is the Hardware Development Tech Lead at 苹果公司, starting in August 2023. Educational qualifications encompass an MS and BS in Physics from Tsinghua University.
