Shereef Shehata

Shereef Shehata, Ph.D., is a highly active Platform Architect at Apple Inc., focusing on algorithm development and architecture optimizations for video and display. With prior experience as a Multimedia Technology Lead Architect/Manager at TSMC and a Video Technology and 3D/2D Graphics Architecture Lead at Texas Instruments, Shereef developed innovative multimedia IP architectures and advanced video processing algorithms. Holding a Ph.D. in high-level synthesis of digital signal processing cores targeting FPGAs from Concordia University, Shereef has contributed significantly to diverse areas including machine learning, numerical linear algebra, and mixed signal design. Shereef's work spans various cutting-edge technologies, making substantial advancements in the fields of imaging, media, and graphics.
