Shingo Mandai

Shingo Mandai is an Engineering Manager for Image Sensors at Apple, specializing in SPAD/APD sensors. With over six years of experience in circuit and detector design, Shingo has a strong background in areas such as time-to-digital converters, 3-D cameras, and medical detectors. They previously held positions at Sony and OmniVision Technologies, Inc., and completed a research fellowship at The University of Tokyo. Shingo earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, and both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Tokyo.
