Shingo Yoneoka possesses extensive experience in engineering, particularly in haptic technology and MEMS design. While serving as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2006 to August 2011, Shingo contributed to significant academic research. Shingo then advanced to Mcube Inc as a MEMS Design Engineer from August 2011 to September 2013, where expertise was applied in developing single-chip MEMS motion sensors, including 3-axis accelerometers and gyroscopes. Following this role, Shingo joined Apple as a Sensing Hardware Engineer in the Haptic Engineering division from October 2014 to April 2016, before being promoted to Hardware Engineering Manager in the same division, a position held from April 2016 to present.
