Shivesh Ranjan

Shivesh Ranjan is a Senior Machine Learning Researcher at MIND, AIML at Apple, where they have been contributing since 2019. Prior to this role, Shivesh worked as a Staff Scientist at BBN Technologies, focusing on speech recognition and keyword spotting technologies. They also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at CRSS, UT Dallas, where they improved noise robustness in speaker and speech recognition systems using machine learning techniques. Shivesh began their journey in the field as a Research Intern at Apple in 2017, following a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, which they completed with a GPA of 3.89.
