Simon Breen

Simon Breen has over 15 years of experience in process engineering across various high-tech companies. Beginning as a Process Engineer at Intel from 2004 to 2006, Simon worked in a high-volume manufacturing environment, focusing on layer ownership with flexibility for on-call support. As a Yield Integration Engineer and Process Development Engineer at Memjet Australia from June 2007 to December 2012, Simon designed and documented plasma processes for print head products and collaborated on high-level task forces to address process failures. Simon then served as a Senior Process Development Engineer at Finisar Corporation from December 2012 to July 2018, where responsibilities included designing and streamlining complex manufacturing processes. Since August 2018, Simon has been a Manufacturing Process Development Engineer at Apple, supporting global operations and new product introductions. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick, earned in 2003.
