Simon Nield

Simon Nield has extensive experience in hardware engineering and GPU leadership, having worked at prominent companies such as Apple, Imagination Technologies, and Quantel. Currently, Simon leads the GPU team at Apple, where they focus on advancing silicon technologies. Previously, Simon held multiple engineering and management roles at Imagination Technologies and Quantel, contributing to the development of PowerVR technologies. Simon earned a BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Bath, followed by an MEng from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs Electriciens de Grenoble and the University of Bath.
