Stephen Jackson

Stephen Jackson is a Software Engineering Manager at Apple, where they have worked since 2013. Previously, Stephen held positions such as Associate at Exponent, where they designed embedded systems and led collaborations for unmanned vehicles, and Graduate Research at UC Berkeley, where they developed algorithms for flight control and computer vision. Stephen earned both a BS/MS and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley between 2001 and 2011. Their extensive experience includes pioneering FAA approved protocols for autonomous aircraft and leading teams in advanced technological projects.
