Stephen Shum

Stephen Shum is currently the Manager of Machine Learning specializing in Speech and Speaker Recognition at Apple. They have an extensive background in academia, having served as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they contributed to significant research in spoken language systems. Stephen also held positions at UC Berkeley, ICSI, and Johns Hopkins University, and completed internships at Google and MIT Lincoln Laboratory. They earned their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT, building a solid foundation for their expertise in the field.
