Steve McClure

Steve McClure is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Apple. They previously held roles at Meta as Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Reality Labs and at Facebook as Head of Hardware for the Portal team. Prior to these positions, they contributed to multiple product designs at Apple, including the first two generations of the iPad, and gained extensive experience in mechanical and thermal design across various consumer devices. McClure earned a BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
