Sudhakar Rao

Sudhakar Rao possesses extensive experience in software development and management, particularly within the audio and video technology sectors. Currently serving in a GPU Software role at Apple since May 2019, Sudhakar's prior experience includes key positions such as Senior Manager for Platform and Wireless Groups at Bowers & Wilkins, where responsibilities encompassed WiFi, Bluetooth technology, and audio/video streaming systems. At TiVo, Sudhakar held the title of Senior Software Manager, leading cross-functional teams in systems software and platform development. Additional experience includes a Director role at Gibson Labs focusing on real-time audio networking protocols, along with senior software engineering at Silicon Graphics Inc and MIPS. Sudhakar obtained a Ph.D. in Information Theory and Signal Processing and an M.S. in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
