Sumit Verma is an RF System Architect at Apple, with over 23 years of experience in RF, mmW, and optical communications. They previously served as a Principal Engineer at Qualcomm from 2006 to 2018 and held the position of RF Ecosystem Architecture Director at Intel Corporation from 2018 to 2019. Sumit leads 3GPP RF standards and technology development for 5G/NR, having also played a key role in the world’s first commercialization of LTE and 3G technologies. Currently, Sumit is pursuing a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Southern California.
