Suril Shah

Suril Shah is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in optical sensor design and medical device development. Currently at Apple since March 2021, Suril has contributed to the launch of the Beats Fit Pro and AirPods Pro 2. Prior experience includes a role at Verily Life Sciences, where Suril designed low power, clinical-grade medical devices, culminating in the launch of the Verily Patch. Additional experience encompasses positions at ON Semiconductor, focusing on system-level characterization for hearing aid DSPs, and early hardware development for hearing aid solutions. Suril's career began with internships at various companies, including high-speed digital design at Arista Networks and control system design at MedAvail Technologies. Suril holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
