Taimour Wehbe

Taimour Wehbe is a seasoned professional in the field of embedded systems and security architecture, currently serving as a Platform Security Architect at Apple since May 2025. Previously, Taimour held various roles at Renesas Electronics from February 2019 to March 2025, including IoT Security Architect and Senior Staff Design Engineer, where significant contributions were made to the design and implementation of security solutions for microprocessors and microcontrollers, particularly focusing on RISC-V architecture and secure systems. Taimour's academic background includes a Ph.D. in VLSI Systems and Digital Design from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer and Communications Engineering from the American University of Science and Technology. In addition to research and development, Taimour has also been involved in teaching and supervising students in various capacities throughout an extensive academic career.
