Tao

Tao Ma is an experienced professional in the fields of machine learning, computer vision, and robotics, with a robust background in engineering and research. From September 2018 to March 2020, Tao served as an Engineering Manager at Apple, focusing on machine learning initiatives. Prior to that, Tao held the position of Data Scientist at Samsung Electronics from September 2014 to August 2018, specializing in object recognition, face recognition, and activity understanding through deep learning. Tao's earlier roles include Senior Research Engineer at an innovation lab, Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, and Research Intern at Intel Corporation, with a foundation in FPGA and image processing as a Graduate Assistant at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Tao holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master's degree in Signal and Information Processing from the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
