Thomas Sullivan is an experienced electrical engineer and technical leader currently serving as the Lead Sensor System Architect at Apple. In this role, Sullivan oversees hardware architecture for health technologies, including the ECG feature of the Series 4 watch, while managing a team of engineers on various projects. Previously, Sullivan held positions at NeuroSky as Director of Technology Development, and at Proteus Digital Health as a Staff Electrical Engineer, where they led the design of innovative sensor systems in regulated environments. Sullivan earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Cognitive Science from UC San Diego, following a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona.
