Tim Powderly

Tim Powderly is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government affairs and legal counsel. Currently serving as Senior Director of Government Affairs for the Americas at Apple since December 2010, Tim has held various positions in the company, including Director of Federal Government Affairs and Senior Manager of Government Affairs. Prior to Apple, Tim was Senior Counsel for the Subcommittee on Telecommunications and the Internet at the U.S. House of Representatives from February 2007 to December 2010. Tim's legal career began as an Associate at Sidley Austin LLP from 2005 to 2007, following a role as Manager of Legislative Affairs at Covad Communications from 1999 to 2005. Tim earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The George Washington University Law School and a degree from Penn State University.
