Timothy Chen

Timothy Chen is a Hardware Engineer currently working in Platform Architecture at Apple since 2023. Previously, they served as a Staff Hardware Engineer at Google, where they were the silicon architect and lead for OpenTitan, as well as the chip lead for Google's Titan-M and contributed to SoC and security design. Timothy has also held positions as a Principal Engineer at Broadcom and a Senior Design Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor between 2006 and 2014. They earned degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, complemented by business studies at the Haas School of Business.
