Tom Powell

Tom Powell is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in product development and systems engineering within the automotive and consumer electronics sectors. At Jaguar Land Rover, Tom held multiple roles from September 2012 to September 2014, including Team Leader for the Consumer Electronics Team, where responsibilities included overseeing consumer electronics integration in vehicle infotainment systems, managing development suppliers, and leading design verification processes for voice control systems. Following that, Tom worked at Apple from October 2014 to September 2019 as a Car Services Engineer and later as a Car Experience Systems Engineering Manager. Earlier in Tom's career, Tom was an Applications Engineer at National Instruments, providing technical support and solutions for clients. Tom's academic background includes a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, earned with First Class Honours.
