Uma Achutha

Uma Achutha currently serves as a Senior EPM at Apple since August 2024. Previously, Uma held several positions at eBay from January 2017 to January 2024, including Leader and Board Member for Women@eBay, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, along with mentoring women to foster professional growth. Other notable roles at eBay included Senior Product Manager 2 - Technical, where Uma focused on enhancing engineering velocity and improving software development lifecycle processes, and QA Manager 2 & Lead QA Engineer, overseeing a team of over 12 QA engineers and achieving significant automation in testing. Uma began a career at Ciena as a Lead QA Automation Engineer from August 1999 to November 2003. Educational credentials include a Product Management degree from UC Berkeley, a Project Management certification from Stanford University, and ongoing AI certifications, alongside a B.S. in Electronics and Communications from G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College.
