Vanessa Heckman

Vanessa Heckman is a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, where they have also served as a Machine Learning Manager and Data Scientist. They completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering with a Geophysics Minor from the California Institute of Technology, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Applied Science. Vanessa's earlier experiences include a Data Science Fellowship at Insight Data Science and a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship at Caltech. They were also a JSPS Summer Fellow at NSF in 2012.
