Vedant Singh

Vedant Singh is a Metrology Engineer at Apple since March 2022, previously holding a similar position in Imaging/Computer Vision at QuantumScape from September 2020 to March 2022. At QuantumScape, Vedant developed optical systems and computer vision models for quality control in battery manufacturing. Prior experience includes a role as a Mechanical Researcher at Uber from November 2019 to June 2020, where Vedant contributed to the development of a robotic system for towing eVTOL aircraft and performed various analyses. Early research endeavors at Georgia Institute of Technology involved creating electromechanical systems to study roadway surface tribology and analyzing web traffic data for the Department of Revenue. Vedant holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University and an additional Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a high school diploma from British School Kathmandu.
