Vignesh Jagadeesh

Vignesh Jagadeesh is currently the Director of Machine Learning and Software at Apple, where they oversee cross-functional efforts to innovate at the intersection of machine learning algorithms and user experience. Vignesh's teams focus on applied R&D in visual scene understanding, developing various perception algorithms extensively used in user-facing features. They previously worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, addressing challenges in computer vision and image processing. Vignesh also held various internships, including roles at eBay and True Vision 3D Surgical, where they contributed to visual search and real-time imaging systems. Vignesh began their research journey as an Undergraduate Research Trainee at Waran Research Foundation.
