Wanping Zhang

Wanping Zhang is a Senior Engineering Manager specializing in Cellular System Performance at Apple Inc, a position held since 2019. Previously, Wanping served as a Sr. iPhone Cellular Performance Engineer at Apple from 2010 to 2016 and worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Qualcomm from 2007 to 2010. Wanping began their academic journey at the University of Science and Technology of China, earning a BE in Computer Science in 2005, followed by a PhD in Computer Science from UC San Diego in 2009. They also contributed as a Research Assistant in the UCSD CSE department from 2005 to 2007.
