Wei Shi

Wei Shi is a highly experienced SoC STA Manager at Apple, with over 20 years in the semiconductor industry, specializing in ASIC/SOC backend processes. Wei obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore and holds an M.Sc. in Semiconductor and a B.Sc. in Physics from Shandong University. Prior to joining Apple in 2019, Wei held significant roles at Qualcomm and Cadence Design Systems, driving advancements in design methodologies and tool adoption across multiple technology nodes, including 7nm. Wei's career began as an IC Design Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics and has included extensive contributions to the design and verification of complex SOC chips.
