Willi Mickelson

Willi Mickelson is a Hardware Reliability Manager at Apple, focusing on the reliability of camera, haptic, TouchID, and optical sensing modules. They co-founded Evolution Materials Inc. and served as Chief Technology Officer, and previously worked as a Senior Scientist at Nanomix, where they specialized in carbon nanotube-based sensors for medical applications. Willi earned a Ph.D. in Physics from UC Berkeley, where they published extensively and were recognized as an Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor.
