William Xu

William Xu is a GPU Design Manager at Apple with extensive experience in the ASIC flow, encompassing architecture definition, RTL coding, and functional verification. They previously held positions as a Sr. ASIC Engineer at NVIDIA and as ASIC Design Manager at Altera. William has successfully taped out 23 chips without any bugs causing a respin and has worked on various projects, including graphics processors and memory controllers. They are currently pursuing a Master’s in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University while also holding dual Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University.
