Xiaohua Yang

Xiaohua Yang is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Apple since August 2014, Xiaohua has previously held the position of Senior Engineering Manager within the same company. Prior to Apple, Xiaohua was a Senior Multimedia System Software Manager at NVIDIA from April 2002 to August 2014, contributing significantly to the development of GPU drivers, DirectX, CUDA, and various video and audio processing technologies. Earlier roles include Senior Software Engineer at Juniper/Pacific Broadband Communications, where Xiaohua focused on DOCSIS for CMTS, and Senior Software Engineer at ATI/Chromatic Research, working on multimedia and optimization projects. Xiaohua's career began at National Semiconductor as an Engineer, and academic credentials include studies at UC Santa Barbara and Tsinghua University.
