Xiaoming Cui

Xiaoming Cui is an experienced software engineer specializing in AR/VR and deep learning technologies. Currently, as an AR/VR Software Development Engineer at Apple since November 2022, Xiaoming focuses on performance and power optimization for the Apple Vision Pro and develops machine learning models for VisionOS. Prior to this role, Xiaoming worked at Intel Corporation from April 2016 to November 2022, contributing to the optimization of the TensorFlow framework and deep learning models across various domains. Earlier experience includes roles at AMD, Clearspeed Technology, and IBM, where Xiaoming developed drivers for GPUs, high-performance mathematical libraries, and algorithms for supercomputing architectures. Xiaoming holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Washington State University and a Master's degree from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
