Xiyan Wang

Xiyan (Jamie) Wang is currently a Data Science Manager at Apple, where they apply their passion for data science and visualization to business challenges. They possess a PhD in Economics and an MS in Statistics from the University of California, Irvine, as well as dual bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Economics from Peking University. In previous roles, they served as a Statistical Consultant at UC Irvine and a Senior Statistician at J.D. Power, where they utilized advanced statistical methodologies and programming tools to enhance customer service and conduct seismic fragility analyses. Xiyan is proficient in a variety of programming languages and data visualization tools, and brings a high-energy approach combined with dry humor to their work.
