Xun（逊） Shi

Dr. Xun Shi is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Apple, where they specialize in machine learning, system integration, and video coding and processing. Previously, Xun served as a Staff Software Engineer in Video Algorithm at Harmonic, focusing on R&D for video transcoding services. Their early career included positions as a research intern at Research In Motion and a student intern at Microsoft Corporation, where they honed their skills in computer vision and image processing. Xun holds a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from York University, along with both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in the same field from Beihang University.
