Yang Zhao

Yang Zhao is a highly experienced professional in machine learning and search technologies, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning and Search at Apple since February 2020. Prior to this role, Yang Zhao worked at Google for over 12 years, advancing through various positions including Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Staff Software Engineer, where significant contributions were made to Google Lens and Image Search functionalities. Yang Zhao's academic foundation includes a PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University in the Department of Precision Instrument.
