Yanghai Tsin

Yanghai Tsin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and technology. Currently serving as a Director and previously as a Senior Engineering Manager at Apple since September 2013, Yanghai focuses on scaling product impact through advanced algorithms for 3D perception and interaction in VisionPro and iOS. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Staff Engineer at Qualcomm, where Yanghai led a team in developing mobile computer vision technologies for augmented reality. At Siemens, Yanghai held the position of Senior Staff Research Scientist, directing research and development in industrial vision systems. Yanghai holds a Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, an MS in Pattern Recognition and Intelligent Control from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a B. Eng. in Automation from Tsinghua University.
