Yannick Sierra

Yannick Sierra is a seasoned professional in cryptographic engineering with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Cryptographic Engineering Manager at Apple since November 2017, Yannick previously held multiple roles in cryptography including R&D Cryptography Engineer at Oberthur Technologies and several senior positions at Texas Instruments, specializing in cryptology and security for embedded systems. With a solid foundation in computer science from The University of Western Ontario and a master's degree in telecommunications from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et de Mathématiques Appliquées de Grenoble, Yannick has contributed to the development of cryptographic algorithms and a cryptographic library throughout the career.
