Ye Wang

Ye WANG is a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Apple since June 2021, specializing in computer vision, machine learning, large language models, generative AI, multi-modal applications, and data science. Prior to this role, Ye served as a Senior Research Engineer at Tencent America, focusing on immersive AR/VR products, including 3D room layout reconstruction and body reconstruction. Academic experience includes a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant position at the University of Southern California, where research concentrated on computer vision and deep learning, as well as an internship as a Software Engineer at ByteDance, working on real-time video denoising. Ye also held a Machine Learning Engineer Internship at Apple in 2019, focusing on video processing and GANs. Ye WANG earned a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Peking University.
